FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Are We Able to Claim the Study Tour as a Tax Deduction?
Yes, many of our past participants have successfully claimed the study tour as a work-related expense on their taxes. In addition to the cost of the tour itself, they have also been able to claim expenses such as flights, travel insurance, additional accommodation, and other related costs. However, it’s important to consult with a tax professional to ensure that your specific situation qualifies and to understand the necessary documentation and requirements for making such claims.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans. After you pay the non-refundable deposit, you can pay off the remainder through a payment plan. Typically, final payments are due 90 days before the travel date. Our customisable payment plans are designed to make it easier for you to manage the cost of your trip. If you have specific requirements or need more information about setting up a payment plan, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Is This Experience Just for Teachers?
All adults are welcome to join. Non-educators cannot enter the schools with the group but can participate in all other activities. Some tours have this option pre-built into the booking process—just select ‘Add on Partner’ when booking. Please note, we do not allow children, as most of our participants are looking for an escape from school-aged children!
What Is Not Included in the Price?
Flights to and from your destination, transfers from the airport, travel insurance, and visas are not included in the trip cost. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance as soon as you make your first payment to ensure coverage for unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, any extra meals and activities not specified in the trip description are at your own expense. For the best travel experience, we suggest arranging these aspects well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues.
Do I Need to Get Travel Insurance?
Obtaining travel insurance is essential to ensure comprehensive coverage and it is a requirement according to our terms and conditions. We recommend that you secure travel insurance as soon as you make your initial payment.
If the Tour is Full, Is It Really Full or Can There Be Some Flexibility?
When a trip is full, you can join the wait list on the tour booking page.
Is There a Waitlist?
Yes, many of our trips fill up fast. When a tour becomes full, you will be prompted to join the waitlist.
Should I Register with My Work or Personal Email Address?
Please use your personal email address that you check frequently. Ensure our emails do not go to your spam folder.
Do I Need to Be Accepted or Apply to Attend a Trip?
