Please note this is a brief itinerary and guide only, a more detailed itinerary will be emailed to you closer to departure. Lots of spontanous group activites transpire along the way like Ice Hockey Games, Drinks at a Rooftop Bar or Shopping expeditions to the many nearby shops and markets.
Everything is encouraged but nothing is compulsory!

Friday 10th January

Check into Golden Circle Suites in Rovaniemi
Welcome Dinner – Enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant, getting to know your fellow travellers and tour hosts.

Saturday 11th Januray

Morning: Experience the thrill of a Husky Ride through the snowy wilderness, guided by expert mushers and surrounded by the stunning Arctic landscape.
Evening: Embark on a Northern Lights excursion, where you’ll chase the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis and hopefully witness this natural wonder dancing across the night sky.

Sunday 12th January

Morning: Visit Santa’s Village, meet Santa Claus himself, and explore the festive atmosphere of this iconic attraction.
Afternoon: Optional Snowmobile adventure for those seeking more excitement (at own expense, more details closer to departure)

Monday 13th January

Morning: Transportation to Oulu, where you’ll check into Lapland Hotel Oulu.
Afternoon: Free time to explore Oulu at your leisure, perhaps visiting local attractions or enjoying a stroll along the scenic waterfront.

Tuesday 14th January

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: School Visit to observe Finnish education in action, gaining insights into the renowned Finnish education system. Lunch Included.
Afternoon: Sauna & Ice Hole Dipping Experience

Wednesday 15th January

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: School Visit to further explore different aspects of Finnish education, engaging with educators and students. Lunch Included.
Afternoon: Free time to explore Oulu or participate in optional activities offered by the hotel.

Thursday 16th January

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: School Visit for another enriching educational experience, deepening your understanding of Finnish teaching methods and practices. Lunch included.
Afternoon: Leisure time to relax or explore Oulu independently, perhaps indulging in some shopping or sampling local cuisine.

Friday 17th January

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Final School Visit, concluding your immersive educational journey in Finland. Lunch Included.
Evening: Gather for a special Final Dinner, reflecting on your experiences and celebrating the friendships forged during the trip.

Saturday 18th January

Morning: Transfer back to Rovaniemi, where you’ll bid farewell to Lapland and depart for your onward journey.
Departure Flights should be booked after 1 pm to ensure ample time to get to the Rovaniemi Airport from Oulu.
